I think part of Avengers 2 will be based of “Gods And Monsters”
So based on the following concept art I think this is further evidence that marvel phase 2 is going to be much more “personal and painful”, as Joss Whedon stated for his plans in an Avengers 2 interview.
Iron man 3
So many of us have seen the footage. Tony Stark is not only down for the count in this pic, but has his house blown up, Pepper Potts kidnapped, and is about to face the leader of the organization (Mandarin of the 10 rings) that made him BECOME Iron man in the first movie. Also if this movie is related to the “Extremis(2006)” storyline, this will indeed test Stark’s limits in a VERY BIG way. So right off the bat, Marvel is going to hit Stark where it hurts.
Thor: The Dark World
Also, right off the bat, the movie title alone lets us know we are dealing with a “darker” theme. And evidenced by the set photos, Thor is going to butt heads with the Dark elves, presumably in this “Dark World” somewhere in the 9 realms. Also it is being speculated that Loki will be a bit more retributive in his psyche, which looks to be lot different from the Loki who tried to conquer NYC. So overall, I think that this character change in the Thor 2 story fits well for Whedon’s proposed phase 2 plan.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
This one is the most challenging for me to be honest. But let’s start at the above pic. If any of you have read the comics this suit bears striking resemblance to “Commander Rogers” of Secret Avengers (2010). Here is a pic for comparison: 
So basically in the comics, “Commander Rogers” was a bit more espionage/incognito, than the usual “front line” ringleader (like in TFA and Avengers). So most likely, I think we will see a more “stealthier” Steve Rogers, than the attention-drawing one in the other movies. Also too, the main villain, the Winter Soldier, was aligned with the Soviet Union, so once again this supports a more espionage/cold war type story.
To conclude, I am thinking we will see the more personal and shadier aspects of Steve Rogers actions/choices in the environment of SHIELD organization. I should also note that he was not very happy when he found out Fury was using HYDRA weapons, and it may once again “dig the knife deeper” when he finds out the true identity of the Winter Soldier (I wont spoil this for you, but I highly recommend reading the winter soldier comic story arc) .
So those are my quick thoughts on the matter of a more “personal” Marvel Phase 2, and I’ve decided not to include GOTG in this post. But I will try and post about them in the future. If u have any comments/questions/rants/suggestions, please feel free to discuss. Thanks :)
I think I know what the deaths are going to be in Avengers 2…
If you know the Thanos storyline…then you also know what’s going to happen…BUT, let’s look on the bright side…Mljnoir will will be lifted by a certain someone who ISN’T Thor… :3

i’ve been staring at the international poster for IM3 and WHAT IS THE SUIT ON THE RIGHT FOR?!!?!?!? it is almost steampunk / skeleton looking. what are your thoughts, tumblr?

Here is some concept art from Iron man 3 that was released a few weeks ago; and if you know me, I couldnt help guessing and sepculating what exact armor version these were. So from left to right starting with the top left corner:
Row 1: Whiplash, deep space, mark 6, war machine, unknown
Row 2: mark 42, mark 4, mark 5, stealth suit, unknown
Row 3: destroyer armor, stealth armor (again?), unknown, war machine, space armor mark 3 (from new guardians of the galaxy).
Anywho, those are my primary speculations, and I cant wait to see these bad boys in action.
May 1st can’t come sooner for me :P, and also comment and tell me what you guys think as well.

I think if you just look at it carefully with common sense, you can tell that Ninfia/Nympheon is a flying type.
1. Ninfia is the lightest of the eeveeloutions at 51.8 pounds (jolteon is the runner up is at 54.0). That supports proof it is flying based. (Maybe that’s why they gave us the weight and height, but not the type, to play a guessing game of sorts).
2. Also the fact that ninfia has feather-like ears and ribbons and bows (like a kite) also supports the idea that it is a flying type. Also notice the “sky blue” eyes.
3. Finally “nin” roughly tranlsates into “cloud” in japanese, and oddly enough if the english name (Nympheon) is correct, “nymph” means a juvenile water insect, and was also a fairy-like creature in Greek mythology. So by chance it could actually be a bug type. :P
Like I said, just a bit of common sense. That aside this game is going to be so awesome and it will only get more awesome while we wait, speculate and discover Generation 6.
